Last night I did my grocery shopping while rocking my newborn baby girl to sleep. I was able to do this with my smartphone, utilizing Walmart’s grocery app. It was around eight o’clock at night. I loaded my online cart, selected the pickup time for 9:00-10:00 o’clock the next morning, and submitted my order.
I’ve been using the Walmart Grocery Pickup Service for about a year and I love it! It’s so easy to shop from their site or through Walmart’s grocery app.
They have one hour delivery windows to choose from and only require a minimum $30 purchase. Walmart will notify you by email, text (opt in), and through the app when your order is ready for pickup. You can actually “check-in” using your smartphone, and with the power of GPS, Walmart can predict your estimated arrival time.
At any time during your one hour window, you just drive up to your Walmart’s designated pickup area and they bring your groceries out to you, review your order and substitutions (if any) and put the groceries into your trunk. You never have to leave your car!
They also periodically give out “goodie bags” with coupons and free samples. In today’s order I was surprised to find a couple of free samples and a $10 off coupon in one of my bags. SCORE!
